Just want to say a big thanks to all the vintage shoppers who came to the Newcastle Vintage Fashion Fair held in the very beautiful Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle on November 13th 2011.

The Fair got off to a cracking start from 9.30 with lots of fabulous vintage fashion items on sale. Customers ranged from Students looking for vintage hand knit jumpers to ladies looking for that special party dress or fur coat.

I spoke to Sarah Fielden, at The Evening Chronicle regarding the events of the day. (By the way Sarah - that little 50's satin dress is still waiting for you).

Amanda Simpson runs thefashionstudio.com and the event was her first time as a seller at a vintage fair.She said: “It was my first insight into one-to-one sales and it has been really positive.“I’m really happy about how it went and I will definitely be back next year. This is a great city and very fashion conscious – it’s great to see such an appreciation for good quality vintage.”
